You might have to get schematic out. I'd start at module. Find the two wires that go to spreader and see if you have 500+- ohms. If open circuit open right cab door and open side counsel. Find the proper plug and wires per schematic and check it there. And so on. You should be able to trace back until you locate the problem. Might just be the plug inside counsel door slipping apart on you. Good luck

G'Day Guys Ive had problems with a 94 R62 in the same area! Seems to be plastic plugs need to be all pulled apart and blown out with compressed air and use a bit of electrical cleaner on each of them! Seems to help. Give that a try. Rolf
