Combines Clean grain elevator chain replacement with AFS

I would want to lower my adjustment at the top of the elevator down as far as possible so that I could take the slack out of the chain as it wears.

You need to maintain the 1_2" measurement from the top of an elevator paddle to the inside bottom of the deflector installed inside the elevator. Changing this measurement will affect your yield monitor calibration because of a registry change to the grain _ flow sensor relationship. After setting the top 1_2" measurement, all adjustments should be made with the lower adjuster.

Thanks...i knew there was a critical top measurement and kind of figured that the adjustment was made at the bottom. But what about adding offset links to make the chain long enough, will the extra distance between those paddles effect calibration that muchIJ

Adding _ removing links will increase flow sensor variability (unless you recalibrate),but only slightly.
