Part of the split up was required by the US and EU before they would ok the merger on CIH and NH. I think the tractors below the Magnums and 4x4's will end up being the NH versions painted red. Here is a link to the McCormick lineup.

So the tractor line being sold is the MX135 MX100 and so on but not the MX270, MX240, MX220, MX200, and MX180 tractors.

The deal to sell off all the MX Maxxum line was done at the same time as the MXc and the CX tractor lines McCormick are now producing the equivalent models up to 170HP possibly up to around 230 later this year or next year. In the short term Case will be using red NH but in around a year there will be a whole new range of tractors and other machinery.

The MX Maxium line was sold as part of the CNH merger. The MX Magnum will stay with CNH, as well as the STX 4wd. This fall NH will be getting the MX Magnum (with some cosmetic changes) and CaseIH will be getting the NH TM series(with cosmetic changes). The Mx line will get an update this fall. MX285 will be introduced, as well as a complete lineup change in the MX series(HP increase, Front suspension, semi-acive seat),the same old cat and mouse game with Deere. I hope this info helps clear up some confusion, and is helpful. Good day.
