Combines cobs in bin

Are cobs being broken crosswaysIJ May want to close concave a bit(8-9). If too far open it seems ear tries to tumble end for end, then seem to get tips in bin. If cobs are split length ways then you've gone too far closed. I'm running '01 R62 stock with 4 reverse bars. Had to change settings for each corn number.

I put two sets of Dans sweeps in and solved most all of the cobb problems. Takes less power, less fuel and more capacity.

do you have high wire gratesIJ, if not pull every other wire on separator and thresher grate. Std is 1_2" spacing, high wire is 3_4". Wider spacing lets bigger pieces through which can be screened out. CDF cylinder and high wire grates or removing wires will fix 90+% of all problems of small cob problems..

Check to see if cylinder bars are extended to area directly ahead of discharge. Don't think extended bars were standard until '01 or later. Remove reverse bars and secure bolts back in the unused holes. You need to look into the helical mods to prevent second pass over concave. Did you try droping down front of concave a couple marks under MID. You got to stop making the small pieces of cob so do what you can hear or follow tips the other guys gave you. Good luck
