It's been about 6 to 10 degrees at night and it gets up to about 20 degrees during the day. We have about an inch of snow on the ground. There is about 16 inches of frost in the ground. Thats cold enough for me! I'm in Sandusky, Ohio, right up by the lake.
Absolute heat wave conditions here with over 40deg.C for nearly a week. We have only had 220mm (850 points) of rain for the year and our average is approx. 25 inches. Some say it is the worst drought in 100 years. We are at Gunnedah, northern NSW, which is usually a very safe farming area. So anything you say sounds good to me.
