really quite well, he has put in one set of rasp bars, and just replaced all of the rotor combs i guess is what you would call them. also something he did to help stop wear on the bottom elevator boot and the door on the top of the elevator was to coat them with rhino linning, he probably has about 2000 hours on his second boot and it looks really good! other than that wear really hasn't been to bad i guess.

most of the cat combines around here don't get much age on them before they burn up, hard to tell where the wear points are.

just wondering if they knew the reason why they had troubles burning up the machinesIJ ive not heard that complaint alotIJ ive seen a lot of JD's burned up cause of wiring are the cats having the same problemIJ

Whats Rhino liningIJ Have never heard of it in the UK. We have just got a 480 and it will start work in 6 -7 weeks time so would be good to stop the wear. Will

rhino lining is used to line the bed of pickup trucks to make them nearly indistructable as far as rust and abrasions and it will add years to the life of a bottom boot of an elevator on a combine! it is sprayed on by a body shop usually and dries to a hard finish that will smooth up and wear a long time
