I had to weld on a small plate to cover part of the inlet on my 2388. After blowing numerous fuses and replacing the motor we determined that there was just too much grain trying to go through and it was overloading the motor. The plate solved the problem. This was the first time my dealer had ever dealt with a machine running a stripper head in rice so we were learning together.
