I can't believe you can afford a 97 9600 by farming 600 acres. A farm around here has 26 full circles of corn, they use 1 9750 combine now that's getting your money's worth. I combine 600 acres too but I use a 76 MF 760, it's not fancy but I am a senior in high school and I bought it combined my wheat and took on 3 more jobs I payed for it in one year. I think in the earlier posts when the guy talked about farmers making poor business decesions it's reflected in the fact that someone would actually spend that much money on a piece of equipment they'll use 1 week of the year on 600 acres. The numbers do not add up. I'm not trying to be critical here but when you are saying you can't afford to rent land I laugh. With that big green investment sitting on your hands I don't see how you can afford not to rent landIJ
