Dang!!! Worst thing I have ever done is run a rabbit through my JD square baler. At least the blood matches the color of your combine.

Two falls ago A guy that works for me part time and I were shelling down in the mississippi river bottoms on a farm I have there. It is a woody brush farm. (If you have ever been in the Pike county,Ill bottoms you know that trees are a rare site in the bottoms.)I was in the grain cart unloading on the go when I saw Ken yank back on the stick and his eyes got real wide followed by this sound THUD,WUMP,WUMP,SQUISH then the grain in the tank turned pink and a fine pink mist came out the back of the combine. Ken was all like "I got a opossium oh crap!" It did not hurt any thing in the combine other than covering the sieves in opossium goo and making a stink for a day or two.I have buddies that got a skunk so I think we got off lucky.

Caught a fawn in the corn rolls several years ago while picking down corn. Thought it was a dog but discovered otherwise when I got out to clear the rolls. First and only "deer" I've ever gotten. Not proud of it either. Was finishing a headland one year combining soybeans and had a rabbit run out then freeze in it's tracks from the lights. Before I knew it the reel threw the rabbit onto the floating deck. Unbelievably, I managed to shut the header off before the rabbit got into the auger. Wouldn't move until I got out of the cab and chased him away!
