I am looking at buying a 9660(now a 9670)sts. Just wondering if there are any particular problems with this model. I am running a 625 flex and 893 cornhead. I do wheat, corn and beans. Is the sts easier to repair than a walker machineIJ Also, how much more capacity over the 9500 that I was previously running with a 920 flex head. wheat 70 bu, beans 45bu, corn 150 bu averages.

Going from a 9500 to 9660_9670 will blow you away.9550 that we had would reap 240 bags hr_20 ton approx 9660 in a 22 bag_acre wheat crop 36 ftdraper .Admittedly the crop wasnt very bulky. On the yield monitor it read 41 ton_hr av not taking into account stopping and also hr monitor stops when front is up on ends.Calibration of yield mon. was spot on to within half ton at end of paddock ,280 ton total.

45 bu beans means you can run a 35' head, and you will probably not keep it full. This will translate to almost double what you were doing before. Good machine. Hope you have more hauling capacity to go along with it because if not you will never get any good out of the bigger machine. gs
