Something is wrong there, there was no 9500 built in 1998. Did you mean 9510IJ And was that engine or separator hoursIJ

In southern Il at a large consignment sale there was a very clean early 9400. It had less than 1500 sep hours. A jockey from Tenn bought it for $27,000

A local dealer in Illinois had an auction this summer, a 9600 with anywhere from 750 engine hours to 2000 hours brought from 29000 to 45000. If you had 35000 in you pocket you could have had your pick of a lot of nice combines. A gleaner auction that I went to was even bloodier.

You mean the MF 750 that I mentioned in reply to the JD 7700 that was for saleIJ Well we have one that is field ready for sale with an offset 6-row corn head and 15 foot bean head, aluminum reel. The hour meter reads about 1200 hrs. We were able to buy it a few years ago cheap and based on the paint we figured the hour meter did not work. Well it does so we are assuming its right. We have put about about 500 hours on it with very very few problems. We also have an 1163 center head for sale separately. What we do depends on what sells. We are hoping to get a JD corn head but if not we will adapt the offset for this year since that one we dont care if we have to weld on an adapter. We also have another 750 for sale but it needs a beater bearing that likely will not be fixed this year. That one we have had since new, its been shedded all but one year and the engine has been rebuilt. We also swapped out the axle and steering column with one from a newer combine with the heavier transmission. Im not sure of the hours. let me know if you are interested.

Oops...yes I meant 9510. And it was separator hours, not sure of engine hours although it couldnt have been much more. The guy owned a truss manufacturing company and just farmed to shelter some of his money from Uncle Sam. All of his land was concentrated and he got it done pretty quick. Dont you just love rich peopleIJ
