Combines combining flax 850 Massey in 10 weather

Combined flax today near Brooks in SE AB. Temp. was 6 degrees, started at 4 pm, went till 8pm. Moisture was 11.5%. Good crop, about 45 bu_acre, in an 18 ft. swath. I was surprised how well it worked. Hope you get it off, good price for flax you know. Too much ice in the flax won't work very well. Good luck!

in 1970 we straight cut 800 acres of flax with a 510 in about 8 inches of snow, every thing worked better when it was below freezing.
