Combines Combining with snow on corn

We found that 20 degrees F and below worked the best. Anything above 20 melted in the machine and plugged sieves. One year we had a N5 and the neighbor had a M2 harvesting next to each other and the M2 could harvest corn up to 22 or 25 degrees with out melting and causing problems, but the N5 had to quit sooner. Try to figure that one out !!

Thanks for the info. I remember 25 degrees worked well with l_M series but wondered if that would be too warm for R series. Unfortunately, we will get firsthand experience this year. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Tom in MN
