It will out do a 9600 in barley and stay equal in spring wheat not sure on durum.8570 very simple cheap machine to operate.

I owned an 8570 and have run with 9600's in the past. They could not get away from me nor I them. The 8570 is a very good machine if maintained which does not require as much as the 9600's and 9650's. Owned it three years (purchased used) and did not do any extrodanary maintance to it. last year of operation I spent $5K on it to get it in top shape and was questioned by head mechanic why I wanted to do some of the things I did but got that back when traded the following winter. Very simple machine to operate and set. Will work with any of the conventionals in most conditions.
