Never run them in corn. In beans, it depends on conditions. Usually none, sometimes 1 and very occasionally 2. Never 3. Try clearance down to 1_4" if necessary and rotor speeds up to 800 rpm. If you can't get them knocked out up to those settings, then try the blank(s).
