Combines concave fillers

We removed every 2nd concave wire in our (94)R 62. left real big holes in the concave. Used 5_16x1",round headed bolts, washers, nuts and loctite to fill bar holes. Bolt thread projected part way across to next bar but still left a good opening. Change bolt lengths until you're comfortable with the size of the gap. Crops are small grains i.e. wheat etc. lOl.

May not need any fillers. Use as few as possible to do a good job threshing without running tailings to full. Yes Gleaner has a plasic plug kit. Have dealer look it up in concave area for newer machines. Some guys tack weld in rivets. Some guys plug with a liquid plastic that gets very hard when dry.

don't know how many holes ther are, but was never so glad to find the last one, did it with the concave in the machine, after just installing it!
