Combines concave inserts

loop goes on top.

i instal those insert loop up in my 9410 99,like i do in my 91 9400. But the diff.is in two years i lost 6 inserts in the 9410. somebody have an idea why this happend, maybe the springs are to looses ,and the new one are more heavyIJIJ thank

I was told that if you put them with the loop on top that the crop coming through can push the pins out, releasing them.

The old style inserts had a rubber grommet that retained the pin in the concave. Over time, the rubber retainer got dry and cracked, couldn't retain the pin. The newer style with the spring worked fine except for the part where the pin was too hard and brittle. Current manufacture should have this problem solved. Your owners manual shows them loop up. Joe
