Combines concave question

I have done that in a 1460 for the last two years. What you will have is a better thrash because the small wire acts like cover plates to hold the beans in the concave longer. You will need to replace it with a large concave for corn because corn will not fall thru the small wire.

if you put in 2 or 3rd position. you can use it for corn or beans. take 2 wires out jump one then 2 more out all across it. will work perfect. thats one good thing about red. you can always make things work easily.
