Connecting Farms With Food Banks

Earlier this year at the very start of the Covid crisis, a bunch of college students saw food and produce rotting in the fields when farm workers got sick en masse. They didn't like what they saw, decided to do something about it and started Farmlink.org.

The Farmlink Project

The Farmlink Project connects farmers to food banks, delivering millions of pounds of farm fresh produce that would otherwise be wasted to feed families in need.

That is an impressive story. Honestly we hear so many bad things about the future generation. It's nice to hear good things. I know my kids will do great things, because that is how we are raising them.

I saw something like this in my area. I think it's great! I think a lot of kids these days are thoughtful. I know mine are.
We donated items to our local food bank too.
