The CDC 6TA 830 engine was used, if I remember right, in late 1680's 1688_2188 and earlier 2388 combines in various specs_power outputs, you will need to check serial no. for your engine to determine exact spec. Consolidated Diesel was and as far as I know still is, jointly owned by CNH and Cummins and builds Cummins B5.9 and C8.3 series engines for CNH. HTH
