look at a l or M header, thats the setup you will need - easiest and lowest cost if you can find an old salvage unit . One can use the 3 spring unit as well but it might be a little more difficult - Finding a RH sensor would be easier here. About $250-300 would get a sensor and harness and turnbuckle - you would have some hardware to obtain like nuts and bolts and cable ties.

The electric header valve from a Gleaner l or M will replace the plate on the F's valve stack. Fits right on, you may have to shorten the 3 long bolts a few threads or different bolts. Pickup the switches, wiring harness, and latching relay. We have converted several F, F2, even put them on 1460 IH. Check out your local savage yard. You will like it.
