First of all, Why would you want to go throu all of the work to convert your machine. I would suggest that you try the AirJet Chaffer before you go and do all of that work. You may be suprised that this Chaffer will clean your grain better and also save it at the same time. Feel free to ask more questions. JWK

If you have located the parts at a salvage yard, you can do the job with no fabrication. The piece you mention that needs changing to make the bottom pan fit can also come from the salvage yard. I got mine from abilene machine. Every required piece was in one kit for about 1_3 what new would have been. Put some railroad crossties under the machine and go to work disassembling. The entire project could be done in a day if you stay at it. My son and I did it in two afternoons.
