Combines Corn Attachments

Turk, WE run a 9500 and put in the filler plates in while shelling all of our corn. ON the concave inserts, i would leave them out. We only use them when the corn is high moisture. As for the inserts i hate them we get them in properly every year, but they seem to loose out. They get lodged in the combine and even saw one walk off he shaker while we were checking grain loss. Just my 2 cents on what we are dealt with. We also begin shelling corn at 25% every year.

we ran a 9500"S for ten years in corn harvesting mainly around the 22 to 25 % mark and still have a full set of inserts which we used once in a trial of corn ranging from 23% upwards up and found there was not enough in it to make us use them again
