We just went to a 16 row planter to match up with our 8 row corn head. We have been using a 12 row planter and harvesting with an 8 row head for 8 years. not many problems and I dont't plant to straight hills, hollars and flat land. We hope to pull in less trash(follage) so we can run a little faster and maybe keep that 72 full. Also run the planter a little slower to get a little better drop.
