Combines Corn Head Angle

John Deere changed the angle of the cornheads in 2002. You can get a wedge kit to change the angle of prior year cornheads. If you are getting a 60 series the feederhouse angle is adjustable and you can adjust it to whatever angle you want. Below is a link to a site that tells when JD combine changes were made.

Deere started new model year early on reduced angle cornheads. The first serial number of low angle 90 sreies is 695301. later machines will all have higher numbers.
