I bought my chains from Shoup Manufacturing. I think their in Illinois. If you need the toll free number, I can get it for you. My catalog is in the farm shop. Their parts have always performed well for me and if you order more than $300 worth then the shipping is free.

I HAVE BEEN AROUND WHEN THE TRASH CONDITONS WERE HEAVY IN THE CENTER WITH lEAVES WE ONlY lINED UP THE CENTER CHAINS THAT COVERED THE WIDTH OF FEEDERHOUSE .IT MAKES THE CORNHEAD REAl AGRESSIVE AND DEPENDING ON CROP CONDITIONS IF YOUR NOT HAVING TRASH OR FEEDING PROBlEMS.THE BEST WAY FOR MATERIAl HANDlING IS STAGGERD.IN REAllY TOUGHCONSDITIONS I AlSO FlIPPED THE CENTERS OVER BUT THAT WAS BAD COND.THE KITS THAT YOU CAN INSTAll ON CHAINS WORK WEll AlSO.
