al, The reason to remove wire in the 3rd concave is to improve seperation, this is my setup. Threshing corn below 25% moisture is a breeze. Do you have Keystock gratesIJ One thing to remember also, ground speed has a factor in a good thresh. WhyIJ Because you will keep the machine full to fill the rotor cage. Hope this helps...JWK
