It is about time they put corn burning on T.V. I have been burning corn over 4 years and selling corn for stoves for the last 3 years. I can heat most of our house with a average of 50n per day. We have electric heat and our electric bill does not go up in the winter. (take of the air cond. about 20 days a year, and fewer fans running in the barn) At the price of corn in town today that would cost a whole $1.47 a day to heat a house. Most of my corn costomers run about the same rate 50n to 65n a day depending on heat flow in their house. About 4 brands of stoves all work well. Also took off the precleaner on the combine today and cleaned it out. I did not know you could put that much dirt in that small a space Hope that will save a little fuel too, along with less air filter cleaning time. (R50)

What stove do you useIJ I have studied them all summer and figured out I don't want one you need to flip the corn syrup caused clinker out of every day. I wanted the newer technology that mixes the fire pot and that brings the price up to $2300 per stove, 45,000 or so BTU. That will pay a lot of electric and other fuel bills but GOT to get rid of all this low priced grain. This is ridiculous. $3 fuel and $1.50 corn with 3 gallons of fuel in itIJIJIJ And they want to lock a person up for attempted rape for looking at someoneIJIJIJ OK, off my soapbox, old ag teacher in me. The St. Croix or Brunco stove and the Harman Stove is about all I could find I would call half way new technology.
