Just picked a pivot of corn yesterday, 232 bpa at 12% moisture. Also cut a circle of beans today that went 101 bpa over the elevator scales!! Not mine, just custom cutting. Best beans we ever cut. Central Oklahoma in sandy ground.
Not really, we know exactly the number of acres because we have mapping on our combines and mapped the field. I know it sounds unreal but we have the scale tickets and the JD map data to back it up.
When we run ours through JD Map our yeild and acres has always been very close with the government boys. The mapping will not let you count acres twice, it corrects for the overlapping.
I would like to see how your computer with no eyes can correct for partial head use in point rows. Every farm I run over shows about 15% overlap in points comparing fsa measured acres to gps led applicator maps. Unless they skip.. GS
I have to tell mine the n of rows I am picking-if I am on pointrows and picking less I just hit the rows button and down a couple times. It will beep every 15 seconds to warn me-when I go back just hit rows and up a couple times and it keeps it pretty accurate.
As long as you actually never fail to tell the thing when every single row is not there, it would work. I would say that would be a monumental task to do while trying to stay on the row and all. At least for me it would.. gs
