Hello lloyd, how's things further northIJ Small grain harvest has just reached this area. We tried some of our own oats yesterday but could nearly wring water out of the straw so we decided to wait. We did cut some rye for a neighbor - very dry straw and lOTS of it. If your 52 is like ours, there seems to be shaded areas in those plastic covers below the headlights. I always assumed that was to help prevent glare off the windshield so we've left ours on. There is absolutely NO comparison between these cabs and the old Gleaner cabs when it comes to headlight glare. We can now cut dusty beans at night and still see the reel - those old cabs had lots of glare. However, newer Series II's did away with the plastic covers - Don't remember which year though. Take care- Tom langan
