NHDon that CR970 may be the same one that I drove. It started down at DuQuoin then went to Vandalia (where I drove it),then on to Newton a few weeks back. It was a joy to drive it! I would also like to see a 940 as that would be more my size. Go drive the 970 and have fun! Ilnewholland

Yea it was in Newton . I saw it on there lot. I think it is the same one that a saw at Equality and Albion. Just keeps moving north. I have a horror story for you guys. A neighbor that farms Demoed a TR 99 from Newton yesterday, with a 30 head. It had 6hrs on the engine and 1 hr on the seperator. it cut two rounds and Blew up. Had to be pulled back to town with a tractor. Took the valve cover off and it dropped a valve. That would ruin a guys day. Hope your harvest is safe and better then my yields. Illinois Gleaner

Illinois Gleaner, Its not good to run a New Holland combine empty(need good crops) as they need to run full and fast or else the motor overwinds. lOl! Crops not to good down here, corn 15-55bpa and beans 10-35bpa. Maybe next year. Ilnewholland

At least it made around the field because the R-72 could not even do that.It pluged 6 times not even half way around the field.local dealer came out suggested some things. Did changes, had to drop the concave to unplug. It parked and finished it with White 9700,Massey 8590 and Massey 8780 and then things went good. Also was not happy with its performance in Canola or Canaryseed.
