Shawn Thacker_Thacker Harvesting in Burdett, Alberta traded his JD's for all yellow this fall. Other than you guys I haven't heard of any other larger crews that have switched completly.

Thanks. I had heard that they also traded, but I thought maybe that it was somebody on my side of the border that traded. I don't know Shawn personally, Any idea how machines involvedIJ

"I believe" he has been running 6 9650STS and traded for 6 CR960's with 36' Honey Bee's. He is a good operator and I would think he would be happy to talk with you about his new yellow machines.

How many machines is Savelkoul Custom Harvesting out of lansport, ND running this yearIJ I saw one of their trucks leaving the plant late last fall with a 960 on board. I think they ran three last year and had a pretty good year. NH Powermanager (Publication put out by New Holland) stated that they averaged 25-30 acres an hour w_ their 970 and a 39 ft. draper. The plant is building 7-8 North American combines per day so they have to be going somewhere. I hope everyone running yellow has a great year. Please post if you hear of anyone else running CR's. I should know more after the Custom Harveters Convention in March.
