This all depends on what you are running for a combine now and what you are expecting out of this new combine coming out for a demo

I got to demo a CR970 two years ago for 2 hours. All I can say is it was not long enough to play with all the toys it has in the cab. Seemed like a nice combine. Have fun! Ilnh

1680 curently, loking to trade soon, before end of harvest if deal can be made. but as for expectations, I hope it can run circles around our 1680 for the price difference

We just demoed a cr960 in canola swaths.I'll first say that we have a cr970 for our own combine. I asked my dealer to bring out the size smaller just to compare. After harvesting a few rounds,I decided ,I made the right choice last fall when I bought the 970.We were harvesting about 1 mile per hour faster with less effort.Canola goes through pretty easy. Both combines did a betiuful job in the tank and behind.

Hi: Hope your convinced with the New Holland CR Demo as a combine of choice. Yes, the CR 960 is an excellent combine....however the CR 970 is definetly bigger and will be noticed in the same field for speed and capasity compared to the CR 960. It is because of the seperating area and horse power. Want to view the CR in action. We demoed the CR960 in Canola,Canary Seed, and Oats this 2004 harvest. Come visit us on our web site and make your own judgements about the CR's capasity. Visit us at: { www.johnbob.ca } Go to the "CR COMBINE PAGE" and click on both Pic's or Video. A picture is worth a thousand words.
