I visited my "local" NH dealer Sat. morning. I ran plan B past him telling him that if he did not wish to sell me a machine that I would just go straight through to NH and buy it direct from the company. He thought that sounded like a pretty good idea. Then I asked him who he thought would have to service the machine if it needed any warrenty work or up-dates installed. Very long period of silence. Then he said your closest NH dealer. My reply was you are my closest dealer. Your dealership would be performing the service work on the machine so you might as well sell me one. His response was total silence he never said another word to me. I finially left. Now I am thinking why would I want to buy from these guys or NH period if this is the best they have to offer. NH referred me to this place as the best in the state.

Nod I don't think that dealer wants to deal with you. Would that word you used "litigation" maybe have something to do with itIJ Anyway now it's time for Plan C. Rethink everything over. Do you really want a CRIJ If yes, try more dealers or the company again. I'm sure the company could find you a different dealer to service your combine if need be. Wish you luck. Ilnh

He knows nothing of my "JD" issue. He has farmers lined up at the door wanting to buy a CR and I guess he has access to only so many machines. So he will pick and chose who gets them. He claims that Nl can't make them fast enough.

Your dealer is right about only so many combines. Our dealers here can't get any unless they are sold, none to set out on the lot this year. I guess sales are goodIJ Pains me to ask but how close is a CIH dealer to youIJ Maybe a AFX 8010 would workIJ Be nice to see you in a yellow CR but you would look better on a 8010 than that STS. Something like Plan D now. Ilnh

Nod, some of the so called "little mom and pop" outfits are the best people_ dealers to do bussiness with. My local dealer is a small country town outfit, i supose some would call them a "mom and pop outfit". Father _ mother and son run the show, and you could not get a better dealer they will do anything for there customers, unlike some so called big guy's. Just my exprience claasman

I am not sure if you said you added oil or oil capacity in your post, but if you just added oil, you can try putting a bigger oil tank on it. couldn't hurt anything, you may have trouble finding somewhere to put it. NH should back you up especially on warranty. If you don't get in their face and throw a hissy fit, constantly, until they fix it, they won't. My advice is to get everything working perfectly before warranty runs out or you will have no one to blame for problems but yourself. good luck, don't give up, thats what they want

Pete Are based in OzIJIJIJ We have been running a CR970 as well as 3 CX860's this harvest. We bought ours at T and I at Swan Hill. We have had the exact same problem with one of our CX's. The Dealer said the computer senser for the hydrolic oil is incorrect, however, like you we have not experienced very hot days like when it occurrred previously. It is very frustrating isn't it as the your ground speed gets lower and lower. I found I had to pull out of the crop for 5 mins and let the thing cool down. What kind of hydro temp was the computer showing. Was it in the 90's when the hydro limitation kicked inIJIJIJ

if i was you pete i would bypass your dealer and go straight to new holland head office and dont let them fob you off. Its the same old story with some of these dealers once they have your $$ they cant remember your name. DONT BACK DOWN you have payed a lot of money for that machine and it should perform as the brochure tells you. BEST OF lUCK.
