Is there a turbo on there - and it is bad so the oil is thatIJ

If your breather works the same as the one on my Deutz Allis 7085, it routes in back into the air intake ahead of the turbo for recycling. If I remember correctly, there is a valve in there to prevent the turbo from sucking oil up the breather tube. It basicly allows crankcase pressure past the valve, but prevents the turbo vacuum from drawing on the breather. This valve may have gone bad and the turbo is sucking oil out of the crankcase. Mine went bad so I re-routed the breather to vent like a "normal" engine.

Right, these are naturally aspirated so that leaves the turbo out.

There is a diaphram in the crankcase vent system that sometimes ruptures a allows oil to be pulled back into intake system. There are also plugs under the valve rocker arms that can loosen. One plug in intake port and one in exhuast port. These plugs are removed to install and tighten cylinder head bolts.JMW.

Diaphram is alright. As for the plugs. I was told by my dealer that these only were on the six cylinder engines not the V-8's. Is he rightIJ Note, today no oil coming out what-so-ever. The other day there was a large puddle on engine floor that had run down outside of exhaust-this was after running only a couple of minutes at high idle. I do not get why no oil today. Thanks

Yea the plugs are on small I6's only. Make sure oil level isn't to high causeing crank to dip into it. listen and fell rocker covers to be sure there is no piston slap on a particular cylinder. Ring gaps may have been all lined up for a bit. I think this is why these V8s will gulp a bunch of oil one day and then behave for days or weeks. Good luck

Funny you mention that these things gulp oil one day, then don't for a while. We've seen it before and could never think of an explaination. Seems "mechanical" things should be consistant. Now if it were "electronic" that would be different. I think we will just keep trying to get it to do it again before we start to tear anything apart. Thanks
