Had one on an l3 for several years and then moved it over to a 1680. It's been on the 1680 for 2500 hours and have never done a thing to it besides reweld a small bracket.

Dakota: I spent less than that on the big spreader fans that "The Spreaderman" sells. Basically you copy the system of a 2366 or 88. I love it, no hydraulics, to windrow straw just remove them. Wolffman

His phone n is 620-465-2324, I think he e-mailed some pics. I made longer hex shafts, so the spinners would set lower. Used mud flaps and conveyor belting to copy a 2388's discharge area. The only thing that took some time was re-doing the pan that's behind the shoe, making it so it would dump the chaff onto the spreaders. I'll give you more specifics if you want to pirsue this. I thought CIH would make a kit for this, but you have to buy it part by part and it gets expensive. Wolffman
