I had an SCH easycut installed on a JD 224 flex head in 1987. It worked very well. The 2 Biggest things I noticed about it was the Guards are forged steel and almost unbreakable and the cut was better due to the sections cutting both on the top of one guard and the bottom of the next guard. Only thing i have seen thats just about as good is the cutter bar on the JD 936D. SCH easycut is very Tough to beat Never had anything to do with Crary so cant compare

I have SCH's installed on my 925 Deere and have had much better luck over the Crary's, which seemed brittle and tended to wear faster. Sections seem to remain tight on the SCH's, but I was continually hammering_tightening Crary sections. Both were Deere headers.
