Here in North Central OK the wheat looks good. We have plenty of moisture with more on the way tomorrow. Don't know how much will be grazed out yet. Probably not much unless the price goes lower soon.

P C, Glad to here the wheat looks good in North Central OK. I harvest at Hunter. Do you know what it looks like down a FrederickIJ Here in Central KS. (50 miles north of Wichita) we had a much needed 3_4 to 1 inch rain late last week. Some more in a few weeks would be nice. K.A.

Unit 2, I've not been south of OKC this winter so I don't know what the wheat looks like around Frederick. Who do you cut for at HunterIJ I live at Pond Creek which is only about 10mi from there.

Just wondering what the wheat looks like around Wichita, KS, in particular SW of Wichita in NW Sumner County if anyone knows. Thanks.

We are in the Wichita area and I was through that area last week. The wheat in this area got a late start and it has been pretty dry. The stand isn't actually all that bad, but there wasn't hardly any wheat pastured from Wichita through Anthony_Harper this year, the first time in quite a while I have seen that. But, like Unit 2 says above, we have finally gotten some much needed moisture. This should by a month or so unless it warms up really fast.

Where exactly do you liveIJIJ I live in Tennessee right now but I work on a farm SW of Wichita in the summers. I it is about 1 and 3_4 miles east of Suppesville on K-42. My dad also still lives in Wichita, he is the territory manager for Deere in that area.

My house is actually in the City limits of Wichita now that they have expanded out west. The Farm is north of _oddard, KS but not all the way to St. Mark (Add a "G" for the blank above, the sensor software thought that _oddard was an offensive word) I know exactly the farm that you speak of (nice operation) as I am the president of the rocket club that launches in Argonia. I go to the launch site K-42 to Suppesville Road and then south through Argonia. Hey, if you get a break this year, we are hosting the national launch. You can see flights to 25K feet. Our website is located here:

Boy is it a small world! A guy I work with here in Iowa is into rockets and tries to go to the big launches in Argonia. I'm sure he's going next year. I wonder if you guys have metIJ

Yes, it is a nice operation. They keep their equipment in tip-top shape and clean as a whistle. They are the nicest people to work for. If i had to work for anyone, they would be on the top of my list. Have you ever met them by any chanceIJIJ Their son in law and daughter both coach the boys and girls team at the high school in Norwich.
