Here in Northwest Alabama the cotton and beans toke a beatin' but seem to be OK, but the corn in areas was laid flat in other areas just had some damage, and a little had already been harvested.I have 600 acres that was planted alittle late and I just have spots where the corn is down. Katrina was a tropical strom when it passed though here with gusts around 75mph. We had been in a drought here and I beleive the ground being dry is why the damage to the corn and trees were not worse... I do feel for the folks South of me.
