Nelsoncat, Just inspected my system (1992 1660 w_crossflow) yesterday and found a bolt and washer missing from the backside of one of the pulleys on the fan drive assy. Replaced the missing parts and did a small amount of grinding on the inside of the swing arm that closes the drive sheaves to keep it from hitting the pulley and took the fan RPM from 1160 to a max of 1380! Works great and is actually a little more speed than necessary. Good luck!
