That was me earlier this year - disappointed with the Cummins after running the Deutz. It can be cured for approx $160 - the governor is not set sensitive enough. Remove your injection pump and send it Midwest Diesel Injection Service, Ft. Dodge, IA. Tell them you want it calibrated at combine specs. I cannot stress enough what a difference it made in our R52! We were constantly hearing the dreaded "chirp" but have not heard it since recalibration. I bow before the great Hyperharvest and Hyperharvest II guys for pointing me in the right direction on this problem - was going to just turn the fuel delivery up but that ain't the problem.
