Combines cummins engine excessive oil consumption

Cummins will tell you it is normal. 1 litre of oil to every 100 litres of fuel is within their specs. A common problem with cummins engines.

I was told to check the oil specs. If it does'nt meet cummins requirements, it will be consumed more easily. look at the chevron delo 400. I believe it meets or exedes cummins requirements. Give it a try and see if you notice any consumption difference.
