I'd put it like this. The l10 in the Gleaner has 10% less hp and 10% less cubes than the M11 Gleaner uses. The injection is electronically controled the same way on both engines. Other differences are surely there but make little to no difference. I'd take the engine S_N and have Cummins see if engine control module can be updated to new and or improved specs. Could be it could be bumped in HP or torque rise but we have not had to do. Changes come around on these Engine control modules, fuel pumps, and injectors over time so there is fair chance things can be improved. Same thing holds true for M11s so if I have a guy that wants more I see if he won't let me send in pump and get things up to latest specs. But as always I prefer machine is set up to flow straw before ever blaming the engine for being at fault. I have found Allis, Deutz, Cummins, and Sisu engines will all work very well with their advertized HP if straw is flowing properly.
