I am not that young. And only about half tied down. But I am wanting to go out west after I get done planting this summer. I would sure like to hook up with a Gleaner guy and run for a month or so. What part of the country are you talkingIJ IG

I doubt it matters how young you are. You likely just need to be ready to go full steam ahead when the machines can roll. Drop me an email with your number and when you would be available and I'll let some guys know. Most these guys start in Texas and work northward. Wish I would of made the run at least once. I think it would be a very good learning experence for anyone interested in harvesting and would like to see alot of country. Catch you later

Guys and Girls I would highly recommend that if you can have ago at doing a bit of custom cutting "operating" it will be very worth your while! As it can be both a very frustrating and rewarding experience, and you get to see and learn heaps of your great country. And you never know, you might come across a few of my country men doing the Aussie farm boy right of passage in the US of A. Rolf

I rarely even run one. I'm lucky if I can log an hour a year on buddy seat anymore. Kind of stuck at dealership these days. When I was young my dad was allways going to get me on the harvest run. Got to busy at dealership so never happened. I dream of how good of an experience that may have been. So I wouldn't miss the chance if I were still foot loose and fancy free. Anyway I am getting to know more Gleaner custom operators these day. They often times ask me if I know of any good help out there. So I thought I would ask hear and maybe even snag someone that loves harvest and Gleaner combines. Guys I know that may still need some help have anywhere between 2 to 5 Gleaners. Some of the guys with 2 machines will hook up with another with 2 more machines. So if your interested you should get me your contact numbers and I will forward to guys still needing help. Have a great day

I'm the guy that messaged you about 40 years of silver 5years of red. My son had a great experience in 94 or 95 as a summer intern with AGCo's parts caravan and a year later became the test engineer for Gleaner at Coldwater and 2years later came home to farm. Boy did he take a pay cut. But it was great experience. Even though we are all red now I hope Gleaner continues to improve.
