In e. Wash state, rates including haul to elevator are around 26 to 28_acre.(wheat and barley) I charged 20 for combining and 3 or 6 for hauling depending on need for 1 truck or two.

Thanks Art. I guess I should have mentioned I was in Wyoming, close to Montana and the wheat went 80 bushel per acre. Rare for dryland around here.

Ross, Winter wheat yields 50-80bu here and spring wheat is 35-50bu. If I had to cut a lot of 85-100 bu wheat(Pullman area) I'd charge 22_ac. Hope that helps

Royal, here in SWIl I cut some corn for people at about $20 acre(TR-98 and 8rn). Some charge more but I do it more as a favor for people. Sounds like a good deal on the 920. I may go to that size as I have been cutting with 25' grain head and 8 row corn head and not sure if a 940 is to big for me. Welcome to the forum. Ilnewholland

In NE Iowa, been combining corn with M2 (6-30) for $24_acre. We supply fuel and operator; sometimes wagons. This is for yields of 150-200+ bpa. I think local yield and economic conditions have to be taken into consideration as 200 bushel puts more wear and tear on a machine than 80 bushel.

We custom cut roughly 450 acres with our 750. we charge 28$ acre plus .12bu. to haul. We even get 30$ for one guy even though I tell him 28 is plenty. Now before you sream bloody murder the largest field is 30 acres and most are 5 or 10. You spend all day turning the wheel, and pulling the heads on and off!
