I would think that help wanted (for Harvesting) advertising in the Farm and Ranch Guide is a bit unproductive. I read the publication myself, (and enjoy it) however I don't believe a lot of the desired student age workforce people looking for jobs read it. Of courcse the ag. interested younger people may, but chances are they are already farming or working in thier chosen fields. My family used to harvest and we had very little luck with ag. publications. We did better when we hung flyers at schools or posted in local newspapers. I guess farmers who have interested sons may pass along the info. That is one benefit, the farm kids obviously seem to do great on the harvest. tj
