Just out of curiousity, what tires are you running on your machine if you can only get down to 3.5".

We have an SCH knife and have turned it upside down. What I mean is we turned the guards upside down and rebolted the sections to the underside of the bar. There is enough adjustment on the bolt on the drive to line everything up. Had to do a little trimming with a torch to give enough clearance on the stroke but it works great. In fact you have to tip the knife back to keep the points out of the dirt. We have a Series 3 head but a neighbor has done the same thing with an 800. It is a necessity if you are clipping edibles.
