Combines Cutting high moisture corn

We do high moisture corn all the time - in fact, about 90% of the corn we cut is high moisture, usually 25-32% and I have seen a Gleaner cut corn that was over 40%. She got a bit snotty on the inside but did a clean job. Biggest thing that has helped for us is to remove every other wire from the concaves (old style concaves) to reduce rotor loss. Also, add a little more wind than book reccomends for corn. We have never had any problems at the head no matter how green the stalks are. Happy harvesting!
