My own experience tells me that the CX,CR concepts are some of the best among combine mfg's. For example, twin rotors, the self leveling shoe, the electronic monitoring and adjusting features, the electronic stone sensing and ejecting, shoe banking on turns, cleaning fan speed reduction on end rows, and even the unloading system are all unequaled features. So why no boast about it.

redpower is just jealous because if you look at the back of a CIH you cant tell if its a 1480 or 2388

You are sure right on! He ought to be braggng now becuase they finally after 28 years or so they have put the rotary radiator creen on the side instead of the back. Even though they have that new rotor in the old models they can't get the new 70-8010 ready for market until they can keep the hyd. oil cool. CaseIH had every oportunity to improve the new models, but chose to stay with things like mixing augers under the rotor. CaseIH did put the good NH feederhouse reverser on their combine and they also use the NH cornhead among other things. Maybe there is something on that combine they can brag about.

NHD.....I don't know where you get your info, but the first 9 yrs of AF rotary production (1400 series) the rotating raditor screen was on the right side of the machine, and yes, you can tell the difference between a 1480 and 2388 looking at them from the back. Also, the new 8010 does not have 'mixing augers' as you call them, but an active grain pan feeding the sieves. let's be more thorough in your posting.

It sure helps when the company (CNH) puts all of its resources behind only one brand. Hmmm...lets see that brand would be New Holland. They are manufacturing all product in blue and yellow and not enough red to supply demand. Our neighbor bought a STX 325 and will not get delivery this spring. He has to wait for one to mfg until late May_early June. And yet there are TJ's a plenty. What do you think is happening behind the scenesIJIJIJ CNH is positioning itself to promote only one brand and sell off whatever is left. I have had enough of CNH and all the antics. I think it is time to look at some other colors.

Redpower, I disagree, I think the red colored units are selling as fast as they can make them, esp. when they have to share time with the blue ones going down the same assembly line. My 2 cents worth.
