Hello,I got out my old E3 book and it shows the same thing.Sounds like they are wore out. Should be able to turn them a 1_2 turn and wear the other side down(if adjusted or sat right).I junked out 2 old E,s should have a good useable,WAY less than $800 !!! (lol). located in Mo. If interested, Eddie

purchase trimpe bars in Indiana, will cost much less than $800 and they are wide spaced which will give you more capacity.

If you have the "I can fix it" curse like me you can weld up the leading edges with mild steel rod,then run one or two passes down entire length of rib to restore heighth then add a pass of hard surface over whole thing.lastly you add short bead in center of rib to get that "peak" effect accross length of bar.You can skip every other tooth and sort of end up with that wide space effect.Unwelded ribs will continue to wear shorter adding to "effect".It will work.Ran an A2 for 19yrs with this remedy.It's alot easier to buy what you need than make what you have work but what fun is that!!!!
